Google has pulled it’s plug on its business website builder in a few countries Africa, Nigeria, Kenya , Indonesia, and Malaysia.
Google announced that they are withdrawing their support for the google business sitebuilder and all the websites built on google sitebuilder will be no longer accessible from 15 march 2015. This means that including me , thousands of small business website owners and webmasters are forced to rebuild their websites using different sitebuilder and they have to look for the web hosters who can support their website platform.
Thats how my hunt for reliable web hosting compaines started. When it comes to choosing the sitebuilder, this time I am going with globally popular wordpress website builder which is supported by most of the hosting providers.
After asking around and googling for hours and reading reviews about web hosters, I have decided to stick to local Malaysian web hosters, mainly for the support I can get technically.

The puzzling part for me is, why Rocksoft which is hosting thousands of malaysia online business websites has not taken any steps to retain their customers by marketing their current promotional offer in their website. Only when I called them I wasinformed about the promotional package offer.
Also their response to my various queries were not addressed well with sound technical knowledge.

If you are looking for a hosting provider to run a website which is simple/ static site, you may choose Rocksoft because of its low priced packages.
If you are expecting to have a high traffic website with E-commerce and web apps choosing Exabytes will be a wise decision.

BTW, as a fellow web-builder i think Rocksoft has a much better name, i mean what kind of name is exabytes??????

I’ve used Exabytes, the service is good. And it’s in Malaysia itself. There are other well-known hosting companies, just keep safe of GoDaddy.
